White Wines

Sauvignon Blanc, Andromeda, Central Valley (Chile)

Our ‘House’ White Wine  is a crisp Sauvignon Blanc with fresh with aromas of green apples and a touch of citrus.. Typically dependable and friendly. An excellent introduction to Chile. 12% ABV

Pinot Grigio, Ornato, IGT Terre Siciliane (Italy)

A great example of Pinot Grigio, this is the dry white wine of the moment! Zippy acidity and a lasting fruity character. Dry, soft & well balanced, with a plump and subtle finish. 13% ABV

Sauvignon Blanc, Forrest Estate (New Zealand)

Dr John Forrest makes dry, zingy, fresh Sauvignon Blanc in the style of his favourite Loire Valley whites. Vibrant, exhilarating acidity blends with lovely tropical fruit on the mid palate, finishing with a zingy, fresh minerality and great length. A delicious and authentic, estate produced and bottled Marlborough Sauvignon. 13% ABV

 Chardonnay, Murphy’s Vineyard (Australia)

An appealing white wine showing a light green colour with tropical fruit aromas and a soft, fresh palate. No oak was used in either fermentation or ageing, giving a wine of great freshness, with stone fruit aromas to the fore. In the mouth it has a fresh peach quality backed by juicy acidity, and the long finish is a pleasant surprise. 13% ABV

Picpoul de Pinet, Le Jade, Coteaux du Languedoc (France)

Picpoul de Pinet is a tiny appellation in the commune of Herault, in the very South of France. Fresh flavours of limes and pears. A light, characterful country wine made from an interesting local grape variety. 12.5% ABV

Viognier, Le Jade, Vin de Pays d’Oc (France)

Winemaker Jean Veyrier heads up one of the best co-operative wineries in the Languedoc-Roussillon: Les Costières de Pomerols, near the mussel beds of the Étang de Thau. He produces some very stylish wines indeed, including this orange peel and quince-scented, lush-textured yet fresh Viognier. 12% ABV

Marques de Altillo, Rioja Blanco (Spain)

Made from the Spanish traditional grape variety known as Viura, this white Rioja is light yellow with golden hits and offers well balanced aromas of fruit and floral tones. The palate is intense with a pleasing finish. 12.5% ABV

Red Wines

Merlot, Andromeda, Central Valley (Chile)

Our ‘House’ Red Wine is a Merlot that displays lovely fruit and plum aromas on the nose and palate, with a ripeness that is so typical of Chile. Soft tannins, medium-bodied and very drinkable. 13% ABV

Shiraz, Wildwood (California)

This delicious deep ruby red wine has alluring aromas of ripe blackberries and a touch of spice. On the palate sumptuous blackcurrant with hints of mint tickle the taste buds. This full bodied wine with soft ripe tannins with a rich long finish will not disappoint. 13.5% ABV

Rioja Joven, Bodegas Bagordi (Spain)

Terrific value Rioja, pronounced redcurrant nose with a gentle spice. Good persistence on the palate with a clean, elegant finish. 14% ABV

Cabernet Sauvignon, Andromeda (Chile)

A well-structured and generous example of this classic Bordeaux grape. Bursting with fruit flavours with balanced tannins. 14% ABV

Malbec Escondido, Gouguenheim, Mendoza (Argentina)

Dark red in colour with violet hints. Rich and strong aromas, including scents of ripe fruits, plums, black cherry, black currant, chocolate and violet. Well balanced acidity and a long finish. Good structure with soft tannins. 13.5% ABV

Rosé Wines

White Zinfandel, Foxcover (California)

A delicate coral pink, refreshing with gentle strawberry and peach flavours. An easy drinking, fruity rosé with a touch of sweetness. 10% ABV

Pinot Grigio Rosé, Ornato, IGT Terre Siciliane (Italy)

Lovely red fruit and strawberries on the nose, refreshing mouthful of lively fruit flavours. Simple, quaffable, and great fun. 12% ABV

Provence Rosé, Adnams, Aix en Provence (France)

Very pale in colour, fresh and lively on the palate with the distinctive flavour of herbs and red fruits typical of Provence Rosé. 12.5% ABV

Sparkling Wines

Prosecco, The Adnams Selection, Treviso, Veneto (Italy)

From the Ceschin family in Veneto, the heart of the Prosecco region. Made from the Glera grape with the aromas of ripe apples and fresh, bright flavours of pears and white peaches and a vivifying sparkle. 11% ABV

Prosecco, Il Colle, Veneto (Italy)

Well made bubbly from one of Italy’s top producers, gently sparkling with lovely peachy fruit, the palate is deliciously juicy with super balance. 10.5% ABV (20cl ‘single-serve’ bottle)

Malbec Rosé Bubbles Brut, Gouguenheim, Mendoza (Argentina)

Full of red fruits and a good fizz, Patricio Gougenheim has chosen some of his best Malbec grapes from superior vineyard sites in the Tupungato region and made a fine dry bubbly, pink in colour and full of flavour. 12% ABV

Champagne

The Adnams Selection Champagne, Brut NV (France)

A fresh, effusive Champagne with yeasty aromas and appealing, citrusy fruit. The true character of champagne. 12% ABV

The Adnams Selection Champagne Rosé, Brut NV (France)

Bursting with fresh, lively Summer fruit flavours, this is a superb celebratory Champagne. Elegant, satisfying stuff. 12% ABV
