WHALEBONE REOPENING AND COVID-19 MEASURES

At long last we are delighted to announce that the Whalebone Freehouse will be opening for business from Monday 6th July, following forced closure due to COVID 19.

During the closure we have been working hard to introduce measures that will deliver a safe environment for our customers and staff. By following the guidelines issued by the Authorities we are confident that we have achieved this.

Measures implemented include an increased cleansing regime, clear signage to aid social distancing, a fully operational table service by staff using “state of the art” technology, revised opening hours, and electronically controlled lavatories using a “one in one out” system similar to that used on aircraft.

These, and other measures have been designed to offer you the very best possible service for your comfort and safety during your visit.

Initially, we will be going “Cashless” to reduce the risk of contamination, but with the new limit of £45 for contactless payments we hope that will you understand this decision.

We continue to offer seating both inside and outside, some of which is under the retractable heated roof of our Terrace. Please be aware that some restrictions will be necessary, particularly around the bar areas, but with your assistance we are sure that any inconvenience will be minimal.

Things will be different in Pubs for the foreseeable future but we will always do our utmost to make your visit to the Whalebone Freehouse a happy and safe experience.

For the time being we have revised our opening hours to:-

Monday – Thursday: 4.00pm – 10.00pm

Friday: 3.00pm – 11.00pm

Saturday: 12.00 noon – 11.00pm

Sunday: 12.00 noon – 9.00pm

We look forward to seeing you and welcoming you back.

Sincerely

Mike Lorenz (Owner)

Steve Fiske (General Manager)
